    Tourism in Amsterdam Canals

    canales-amsterdam
Amsterdam, known as the Venice of the North has more than 100 kilometers of canals, more than 1000 bridges and more than 2000 houseboats, part of which are in the old town, delimited by the Singelgracht and surrounded, forming circles by its 3 channels most famous: Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht.
Our favorite channel to see in Amsterdam is the Herengracht, where the most stately and charming houses are located. Strolling along the banks of these canals, crossing their bridges, having a drink on one of the terraces with views, are just some of the great memories you will take with you from Amsterdam.

A visit to Amsterdam isn’t complete without enjoying the canals, I suggest to use minibus hire Amsterdam. They are a symbol of Amsterdam and of great cultural and historical value. In 2010 the World Heritage Committee decided to submit the 17th century canal ring area in Amsterdam to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
